Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

The crew started work on Lot #46 by placing fill material in 6 to 8-inch lifts, spreading using a crawler bulldozer, and compacting with a Caterpillar 815 compactor.

On the other side, excavation was initiated to the required depth for the installation of Manhole A7.

At the Buford neighborhood, the crew continued excavating the trench to the required length and depth using a hydraulic excavator equipped with a rock grinder.
