Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor and for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill.

The pipe crew placed the first lift over the sewer line in the roadway and compacted the lift using a trench foot roller. At this time, the pipe crew has shifted focus to the horizontal boring under the main Seven Hills roadway and on installation of the anti-seep collar in the pond. At this time, the contractors are removing the forms around the anti-seep collar and have not yet begun backfilling. ASEC will be back on site later in the day to observe the backfilling of this collar. Upon speaking with both the grading crew foreman and the pipe crew foreman, they did not have any additional testing needed. Our representative then left the site.
