Crew installed an 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) between manholes B7 and B9 over a total length of 61 lineal feet. Following the pipe installation, backfill material was placed in lifts and compacted. Around the manholes, compaction was carried out using a trench compactor and a mini sheep-foot roller while a standard sheep-foot roller was used for compacting the remaining backfill along the trench. Concurrently, the crew began work at manhole B10, where excavation operations were performed, and the 24-inch RCP pipe was aligned with the existing manhole to prepare for the next phase of installation.
