Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the paving contractor complete fine grading at Nature Walk Parkway and request a proof-roll of the subbase stone. The writer observed proof-rolling using a loaded tandem dump truck on subbase stone making two passes over all areas. The subbase appeared stable under traffic with no apparent movement detected and was approved for asphalt binder mix placement. The writer also observed the grading contractor continue filling in eroded rills at the unit 2 building lots.
