Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor (JW) continue sub grade preparation placing subbase stone over repaired sub grade soils for the roadway and Kiosk area. The base stone was placed over the subgrade and still will require compacting prior to setup. One small, isolated area at the drive exit appears to have movement under traffic in the vicinity of the electrical light pole lines crossing drive entrance which will require stabilizing.

The writer observed the grading contractor (Thompson) continue existing curbing demo at the roundabout to the bridge.
