Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

For the road area, fill material was delivered and placed by the contractor using an articulated dump truck. The material was spread and graded with a crawler bulldozer. The placed material was then compacted using a sheep-foot roller with multiple passes performed. Field density tests were performed on the compacted fill material. Based on the test results, the compacted fill met the project-required compaction specifications.
