Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date the writer was on site as requested and observed the paving contractor continue subbase preparation with clipping and wetting stone and preparing for proof-rolling. The contractor string lined depth elevations from top of curb and roadway asphalt measuring 8″ to 8.5″. One small, isolated area at the drive exit lane was observed having slight movement under traffic with recommendation to repair. The contractor has elected to continue compacting efforts for repair.

The writer also met with the paving contractor and grading contractor and Mr. Mcswain to discuss demo and installation of new curbing at the bridge round about.

The writer observed the blasting contractor on site today begin drilling for the pond at Seven Hills Phase 13.
