Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor and for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. The contractors removed approximately 10 inches of GAB from the roadway and re-rolled the surface with a vibrating smooth drum roller. Density testing was performed on the GAB and test results were provided to the contractor. The contractors poured concrete in the roadway of Garibaldi Street from existing headed to D-3. A set of cylinders was cast and stored on site, to be transferred to the lab on the following workday. The concrete was tested from the first truck, and test results were provided to the contractors.
