Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

At Road C adjacent to Lot 28, the crew excavated the trench to the required depth and leveled the subgrade prior to pipe installation. Two parallel 4-inch PVC sewer service pipes, each approximately 30 feet in length, were installed. At Lots 31 and 34, the crew installed one 4-inch PVC sewer service pipe at each lot. At Road D near Lot 56, one 4-inch PVC sewer service pipe was installed. At Lot 57, two 4-inch PVC sewer service pipes were installed parallel to each other.After installation, backfill material was placed around and above the pipes in lifts and compacted using a trench compactor. The upper portions of the backfill were further compacted using a sheep foot roller.
