Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was onsite to observe the wall contractor RWS placing and compacting backfill at the bridge abutment between the bridge and dead man footing. The writer performed density tests using a Troxler nuclear gauge model 3430, serial no. 91643. Compaction results were in compliance with project specifications.

The writer observed the curbing contractor installing 30″ curbing for Naturewalk parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #14 and 13.

The grading contractor continued erosion repairs at unit 4 phase 3 and hauling fill materials to RWS for backfill at bridge abutment.
