Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative was onsite to observe the pipe contractor installing 18″ RCP storm line over Plantation gas lines behind curbing using excavated soils with above optimum moisture contents. The compacting efforts were observed to be between 90% and 91 % based on probing with a 3/8″ diameter steel probe rod. The contractor used compacting equipment in the static mode due to the existing gas lines.
The curbing contractor continued pouring 30″curb at Naturewalk parkway between manhole #13 and 12 placing approximately 320 lineal feet of a 3000 psi concrete mix.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
