Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue subgrade preparation at NatureWalk Parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #3 and 2. The subgrade was proof-rolled after completion using a loaded off-road rock dump truck. The subgrade appeared stable under traffic but also will be reobserved prior to subbase placement using a loaded tandem duck truck. The contractor also continued repairing eroded reels at Unit 4 phase 2.

The writer observed the grading contractor excavating blast rock from Pond A at Seven Hills phase 13.
