Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative observed the grading contractor Thompson continue fill placement at Unit 4 Phase 3 building lots. The writer performed density tests using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model 3430, serial no. 91643. Compaction results met job specifications.

The writer also observed the grading contractor continue fine grading at building Lots #10 thru 15 and placing rock fill at borrow pit #2 south of building Lot #24. Density tests were also performed at the building lots.

The paving contractor NWGP continued subgrade preparation at the Nature Walk Parkway roundabout.
