Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative observed the paving contractor NWGP remove subbase stone at the westside curb roundabout to lower the subgrade. The grading contractor Thompson performed subgrade preparation lowering the subgrade from 11.5 ” to 14.5″ at the roundabout. The writer also attended a site meeting to discuss replacing type 7 curbing to type 9 curbing at the westside roundabout.

The pipe contractor Savannah completed repairs lowering sanitary sewer manholes at Unit 4, Phase 2.

The electrical contractor Mastec continued excavation and installing conduits at Unit 4, Phase 1B.
