Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative observed the paving contractor NWGP complete subbase preparation at the east side of the bridge to the roundabout. The writer also observed proof-rolling of the subbase at Nature Walk Parkway on both sides of the bridge using a loaded tandem dump truck loaded with 17.95 tons. The subbase proof-roll appeared stable with no apparent movement under traffic and was approved for asphalt paving. The proof-roll was also observed by other members from Paulding County and NWGP who accepted the results.
