On April 27, 2022, our AS Engineering and Consulting, LLC (ASEC) visited the site at the client's request to observe and perform slab and footing excavations for footings for Lots 33, 34, and 35. The footing excavation exposed a loose to medium dense silty fine sand. Soils were found to be acceptable for an allowable soil bearing pressure of 2,500 psf. Further observation revealed the pads were not ready for concrete placement due to the following: <ol> <li>Missing vapor barrier</li> <li>Reinforcement steel not placed.</li> <li>Missing wire mesh</li> </ol> Footing concrete should be placed before the onset of inclement weather. If excavations are exposed to rain prior to concrete placement, ASEC should be contacted to revisit the site.
