Our ASEC representative arrived at the project site at approximately 2 PM. The contractor asked us to visually inspect the surficial soils on three lots. Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing was performed for Lots #86, 64, and 9. Results are attached. A section of the footing for Lot #86 was found to not meet the job specification of 2000 psf. Our representative recommended remove the top 36 inches of soft soils and replace with suitable compacted fill, #57 stone or concrete. Contractor elected to backfill with concrete.
