Our ASEC representative arrived on site to provide visual quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today for the placement of soils for the following areas: Our ASEC representative observed soils being placed in 8-inch lifts. In the attached photos, the cut area is highlighted in red, the fill area is highlighted in blue, and the density test locations are noted in green. Organic materials were observed in the roadway, and the contractor was advised to remove them. This area is shown in orange on the attached drawing.
