Observations/Finding

Summary *

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services, visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

The placement and compaction of a sewer trench composed of recycled GAB around the proposed MH#1 continued this day.

At the time of arrival, our representative observed that work was in progress at 2 foot below finished grade and compacted using a trench compactor.

Density test results indicate that the compacted materials met the project requirement of 90% and 95% at finished grade of the maximum dry density obtained by the (Modified Proctor ASTM D 1557-12).

Our representative also observed a spill check with Depto QA, Hazim ATLnext representative and Brandon CWM rep. Spalls were mentioned at locations, Lane 6 south side (28"x12"), line 6 Northeast side (34"x14"), line 6 Northwest side (31"x10"), lane 5 west of panel 4, (40"x14") and lane 4 Southwest of existing panel, (17"x27").
