Summary *

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative visited the job site to observe the contractor's work activities from a quality standpoint to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:
<ul>
 	<li> A proof-roll observation was performed on the roadway in the front of Lots #86 to 93,</li>
 	<li>A fully loaded tandem-axle dump truck was used to proof-roll the above-mentioned subgrade with multiple passes across the area.</li>
 	<li> No severe yielding or deflection was observed during the proof-roll at all areas mentioned above with the exception of two soft areas (10'x40') in the front of Lot #89 and (12'x20') in the front of Lot # 85.  It was recommended to remove the soft soils to a depth of 6" and replaced with GAB and compact the area.</li>
