Observations/Finding
Summary
*
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. Seven Hills: Amenities: Due to the excessive rainfall in the preceding days, the jobsite remained saturated with excessive moisture. To address this, the contractor began clearing the slopes and facilitating the drying process using a Komatsu PC360LC excavator and a Komatsu 39PX dozer. Savannah Pipeline Company has initiated the installation of stormwater lines at the amenities job site, located between the clubhouse and tennis court area. Excavation work is being carried out using the Kobelco SK350LC excavator. backfilling was started and compaction are being executed with a Hamm Sheep Toe compactor and a remote-controlled compactor. The installation of manholes A7, A8, A9, A10, MH3 has been successfully completed. The following testing was performed:

Compaction testing was performed using a Troxler nuclear density gauge, along with general probing using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod.

Density test results indicate that compacted materials did meet the project requirement of 95% of the maximum dry density obtained by a Standard Proctor ASTM 698.

Nature Walk: Lot #1036 Lot #1036 was visually inspected for the placement of basement concrete. This area appears to be fully saturated due to recent rainfall. Photographs and relevant site conditions have been documented. Lot #995 grading using a Komatsu 39PXI dozer continues. We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us.
