Summary *

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Excavation for Manhole C3 continued using a Takeuchi EX3 TB290 excavator. Pavement removal and clearing, which began on the previous day, continued into the current day. During the excavation process for Manhole C3, several utility lines were encountered, including electrical cables, gas pipelines, and water pipelines.   The contractor continued manhole installation having to work around the existing utilities.
