Observations/Finding
Summary
*
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. Footings Inspection (Lot #144) A Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) test was performed on two sides of Lot #144, revealing the presence of small stones and rocks.

Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) observations were recorded up to a depth of 4 feet below the ground surface, with the following details:

North Side: It can be noted that the area to the north of the job site corresponds to the Front of the site.

At 1 foot: 07 blows (Red micaceous clayey sand with small rock fragments.)

At 2 feet: 07 blows (Red micaceous clayey sand with small rock fragments.)

At 3 feet: 08 blows (Mix of red and brown micaceous clayey sand with small rock fragments.)

At 4 feet: 08 blows (Mix of red and brown micaceous clayey sand with small rock fragments.)

South Side: It can be noted that the area to the South of the job site corresponds to the Back of the site.

At 1 foot: 06 blows (Red clayey sand with small rock fragments)

At 2 feet: 08 blows (Red micaceous clayey sand with small rock fragments)

At 3 feet: 09 blows (Mix of brown and red clayey sand with small rock fragments)

At 4 feet: 09 blows (Mix of brown and red clayey sand with small rock fragments)

General probing shows that the subgrade appears to be stable. Minor recommendations included removing loose soils from the footing. The reinforcement appears to meet job specifications for size, spacing and quantity. We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us.
