Summary *

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

The placement and compaction of fill for the sewer trench between MHB9 to MH9, continued on this day. Upon arrival, the ASEC representative observed active work in progress, with fill being placed in 1-foot lifts. Compaction was carried out using a sheeps-foot roller (6-ton) along with a trench compactor for the sewer trench. Compaction testing was performed using a supplemented by general probing with a 3/8" diameter probe rod.
Note: The nuclear gauge was not standardizing on this day, it was transferred to the office and exchanged with another one, the density tests were not performed on this day,
