Summary *

As requested, an ASEC representative visited the project site from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to provide quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals.
During the site visit, three major activities were observed. At 10:00 AM, the blasting contractor carried out controlled blasting for Lot #24 for holes drilled on August 18, 2025. Safety procedures were followed, and no incidents occurred.
Drilling operations were also carried out by Advance Explosive Company at Lot #25. Holes were drilled at approximately 7 ft by 7 ft spacing using a 3.5-inch bit. Depth checks were randomly performed and confirmed with the drill operator’s log sheet. The results showed that Drill #1 completed nine holes at a depth of 23 ft with rock encountered between 4 and 8 ft.  Drill #2 completed twelve holes at a depth of 23 ft with rock encountered between 9 and 11 ft.  Drill #3 completed twelve holes at a depth of 36 ft with rock encountered between 0 and 16 ft.
In addition, grading and slope preparation were performed behind Lots #13 and #14 to prepare the area for erosion control measures.
The equipment in operation for the day included three drill machines, two dozers, and blasting-related equipment.
