Summary *

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the
purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were
employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (NG Grading) for the
observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. Upon arrival to the site, the contractor removed the surface layer of the fill areas due to high moisture content of the soil. The contractor began filling in the commercial lot area by front detention pond and across lots #8 - #13 and #52 - #60. The contractor spread fill in approx. 6in to 8in lifts and compacted via sheep's foot roller. ASEC watched as loaded off road trucks rolled across the lifts to check for stability. There were no signs of pumping or cracking present, and the lifts appear to be stable. Density testing was conducted, and all test results were provided to the contractor.

The pipe crew continued installation of AA pipeline if the back detention pond area. This area is a greenspace slope and the backfill material consists of blasted rock. It appears that the contractor is putting in a good effort to properly compact this area.
