Summary

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. <p data-start="150" data-end="256">Work activities were carried out across multiple areas focusing on excavation and sheet pile installation:</p> <p data-start="258" data-end="443">Area 1:<br data-start="269" data-end="272" />Excavation activities were in progress to prepare the site for upcoming work. The area was being graded and cleared to required levels for further construction operations.</p> <p data-start="445" data-end="613">Area 2:<br data-start="456" data-end="459" />Sheet pile driving operations were actively performed. A total of five sets of piles (two piles per set) were installed with varying lengths as follows:</p> First two piles: 36 ft Second two piles: 35 ft Third two piles: 34 ft Fourth two piles: 33 ft Fifth two piles: 31 ft The installation was carried out sequentially. <p data-start="839" data-end="1009">Area 3:<br data-start="850" data-end="853" />Excavation activities were completed to facilitate sheet pile driving. Following excavation, pile installation was carried out with the following lengths:</p> First two piles: 36 ft Second two piles: 36 ft Third two piles: 34 ft Fourth two piles: 33 ft Fifth two piles: 30 ft Operations were coordinated to maintain consistency in pile placement and depth. <p data-start="1229" data-end="1328">Area 4:<br data-start="1240" data-end="1243" />Sheet pile driving activities continued with progressive reduction in pile lengths:</p> First two piles: 34 ft Second two piles: 33 ft Third two piles: 31 ft Fourth two piles: 29 ft Fifth two piles: 27 ft All piles appeared to be installed as per required specifications and site conditions. <p data-start="1544" data-end="1651">Area 5 & Area 6:<br data-start="1564" data-end="1567" />No construction activities were observed in these areas during the reporting period.</p> <p data-start="1544" data-end="1651">Crew performing work around different manholes lids by marking and breaking a circular section of concrete using a jackhammer.</p> We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project.
