Summary
*
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day:
Area 1
A proof roll was conducted for one lane on the west side using a loaded tandem dump truck. Representatives from AtlNext, CW Matthews, and 2MNext were present and unanimously agreed that the subgrade conditions were acceptable. No remediation was required.

Area 2
Backfill was placed in approximately 12-inch lifts and compacted using a ride-on vibratory sheepsfoot roller (CP56B). Compaction testing was performed using a Troxler 3430 (Serial No. 38069). Refer to the testing report for detailed results.

Area 3
Excavation activities commenced and progressed to an approximate depth of 10 feet.

Area 4
Backfill consisting of No. 89 stone was placed along with installation of 4-inch sleeved corrugated pipe. A surveyor was present onsite to verify slope for proper drainage.

Area 5
Final lift compaction was completed using a trench packer. Density testing was performed using a Troxler 3430. Refer to the testing report for results.

Area 6
Excavation operations began using a Caterpillar 336 excavator.

Runway
A total of 14 locations had been previously cored around light cans. A concrete pour commenced at approximately 3:15 PM on this date.
