Observations/Finding
Summary
*
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. <div class="" data-turn-id-container="request-WEB:9154c924-8366-488c-83f8-4e3fae5f0c43-9" data-is-intersecting="true"> <div class="relative w-full overflow-visible"><section class="text-token-text-primary w-full focus:outline-none [--shadow-height:45px] has-data-writing-block:pointer-events-none has-data-writing-block:-mt-(--shadow-height) has-data-writing-block:pt-(--shadow-height) [&:has([data-writing-block])>*]:pointer-events-auto R6Vx5W_threadScrollVars scroll-mb-[calc(var(--scroll-root-safe-area-inset-bottom,0px)+var(--thread-response-height))] scroll-mt-[calc(var(--header-height)+min(200px,max(70px,20svh)))]" dir="auto" data-turn-id="request-WEB:9154c924-8366-488c-83f8-4e3fae5f0c43-9" data-turn-id-container="request-WEB:9154c924-8366-488c-83f8-4e3fae5f0c43-9" data-testid="conversation-turn-2" data-scroll-anchor="false" data-turn="assistant"> <div class="text-base my-auto mx-auto [--thread-content-margin:var(--thread-content-margin-xs,calc(var(--spacing)*4))] @w-sm/main:[--thread-content-margin:var(--thread-content-margin-sm,calc(var(--spacing)*6))] @w-lg/main:[--thread-content-margin:var(--thread-content-margin-lg,calc(var(--spacing)*16))] px-(--thread-content-margin)"> <div class="[--thread-content-max-width:40rem] @w-lg/main:[--thread-content-max-width:48rem] mx-auto max-w-(--thread-content-max-width) flex-1 group/turn-messages focus-visible:outline-hidden relative flex w-full min-w-0 flex-col agent-turn"> <div class="flex max-w-full flex-col gap-4 grow"> <div class="min-h-8 text-message relative flex w-full flex-col items-end gap-2 text-start break-words whitespace-normal outline-none keyboard-focused:focus-ring [.text-message+&]:mt-1" dir="auto" data-message-author-role="assistant" data-message-id="d3ca4d2b-5185-462c-b94d-21090f1146bb" data-message-model-slug="gpt-5-5"> <div class="flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden"> <div class="markdown prose dark:prose-invert wrap-break-word w-full light markdown-new-styling"> <p data-start="0" data-end="587">The crew began working on Lots #25, 26 and 27, as well as in front of Retaining Wall 5, where fill material was transported and placed using articulated dump trucks. The material was spread across the working area with a crawler bulldozer to achieve the required grade and slope configuration. Compaction activities were carried out using a Caterpillar 815 compactor along with a sheep-foot roller. The fill material was placed in lifts. Density tests were performed and met required compaction as per job specifications.</p> <p data-start="589" data-end="1175">At Manhole A2, the utility crew initially began excavating toward the east direction for the installation of an 8-inch PVC sewer line. After partially completing the excavation, the crew changed direction and continued working toward the south side of Manhole A2. The crew then installed a T-joint DIP fitting for a future sewer line connection and sealed the joint with concrete.</p> <p data-start="1177" data-end="1516">Crew working near Wall 3 continued placing and compacting fill material behind and around the wall area. Compaction was performed using both a sheep foot roller for larger accessible areas and a trench compactor in confined locations adjacent to the wall structure.</p> <p data-start="1518" data-end="2291">At Wall 4, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests were performed to evaluate the in-place soil bearing capacity and subsurface strength conditions for the proposed footing area.</p> Test Location 1: Approximately 40 feet from the starting point. After pipe placement, compaction around the pipe zone was completed using a jumping jack compactor and trench compactor.</p> <p data-start="2293" data-end="2872" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project.
