Observations/Finding
Summary
*
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor and for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. The contractors placed soil lifts approximately 8 to 12 inches in thickness across the lots located in the cul-de-sac of phase 3A. Lifts were compacted using a sheep-foot roller. Density testing was performed and test results were provided to the contractor. The pipe crew continued installation of storm line Y6 to Y7 located by the entrance of the site. Density testing will be performed on the final grade as the fill over the pipe appears to be approximately 2 feet to 3 feet to final grade. We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
