Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

• On-site today @ 11:30am for general earthwork observation.
• Excavation work was underway for the Stormdrain pipe along the north east section of lot 1. The area cut was outside the area of the main building pad.
• Work continued on the trench behind and in between lot 19 and 18 from the previous day. (The area cut was outside the area of the main building pad.) The contractor explained that the area would be filled with the onsite concrete rubble from various parts of the development. Mainly the broken pieces of the concrete slab that was used as a basketball court.
• General earthwork was also underway on the retention pond B in an area directly behind lot 7. The location is outside the area of the main building pad.
• No structural fill was placed on this day and therefore no tests were performed.
