Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques wee employed to assure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observation were made on site today.

1. The inspector observed the placement of sewer line between MH A7 toward MH A8. During the placement of the sewer line from MH A5 through 40 past MH A7, heavy groundwater was encountered in this section of pipe. Dewatering methods were utilized during the installation followed by an additional 6” of stone added to the bedding of the sewer line.
2. The inspector walked the site with the superintendent Morris Pucket, getting organized for the proposed remediation process inside of lot #27 to be executed the start of the following week weather permitting.
3. No other activities were observed on site due to site being too wet from the recorded 4” of rainfall over the last few days.
