Observations/Finding
The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today
Upon arrival to the site the writer observed the following:
Excavation and placement was underway for the sewer line pipe from MH C5 to MH C6, also within close proximity was the ongoing grading of Lot 16 and 17 by Two excavators working in tandem along with two bulldozers to cut the area to grade, while two dump trucks removed the material.
The writer was informed by Morris Puckett (site superintendent) that they were waiting on approval to go forward with a soil bridge over the secondary creek on the subject property. The writer then contacted the project manager Ram Mogulla (ASEC) who explained to the writer that it was recommended to create a 2 foot soil bridge for water remediation and site stabilization. The contractor acknowledged the recommendation. Light thunderstorms in the area halted work on the soil bridge and the contractor decided to delay work on this area until the morning.
Excavation and placement for the sewer pipe was also underway from MHBA60 to MHBA70
Creek 2
