Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today

• The contractor began and completed work on a 1 x 1 foot gravel mesh (burrito style) drainage system, starting from the boundary of lot 2 and extending across lot 1 to the existing storm drain at the Pittman rd entrance. A mini Kimatsu excavator was used to dig the 1×1 foot trench.
• Earthwork continued on the temporary retention pond on Lot 10, using a full size Hitachi Excavator was used, along with a full size bulldozer to move the the cut material along the perimeter of the pond. Visual observation of the material placed and random probing of the placed lifts, the fill placed was found to be acceptable.
