Observations/Finding

The above named ASEC technician was present at Brighton lot 23 for further inspections of the footings and soil underneath. During several hand auger holes dug to a maximum depth of 10’ it was determined that there is a layer of top soil not compliant with required bearing pressure that must either be removed or overcome by the placement of helical piers. The solution is in discussion with the contractors at this time.

The attached data sheet shows the soil consistency at each foot from 1’ to 10’ in depth.
