Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

Upon arrival it was observed ACGL was working on the Amenities location of Harmony Heights.  This consisted of 12″ lifts in an area of approximately 150 feet x 30 feet in the front of the project next to the main road.   The work was done with a Komatsu PC360 loading a cat dump truck while compacting was done with a 815 Cat compactor.  The elevation started at approximately 875 and finishing at 885.  Probing of the area concluded it was acceptable.   Additional nuclear testing was also completed (please see attached results).

In addition, approximately 25 feet of storm drain was being installed between A2-A1.   Five (5) inches of #57 stone was place under and to the sides of the 16″ corrugated pipe.  Soil was filled in 6″ lifts using the RTSC2 Wacker Nuesom compactor.  The final compacting was done with a BW211 PD-50.
