On December 16, 2021, Ram Mogulla of AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) visited the site at the contractor’s request to observe proofrolling of the two entrances and the deceleration lane within the planned neighborhood.

Proofrolling with a loaded, tandem axle dump truck revealed some deflection in most of the area checked on this day.  In these areas, slight vertical movement was observed possibly due to moisture trapped in the top 12 inches.  We recommend opening up this area to a depth of 12 inches and letting it aerate before being compacted back in place.  This area was discussed with the contractor.  The area should then be acceptable for the placement of the planned pavement.
