Observations/Finding
The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:
Upon arrival at Lot #39 pod 17 our reprenstative observed a large amount of muck accumulation in the base of the footing (due to freezing rain).

Our representative recommended the footing be demucked to remove deleterious materials. Reinforcing steel was placed as per job specifications for size, spacing, and quantity.
A Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) test was conducted. The foundations soils were found to be suitable for a soil bearing pressure of 2,500 psf. Please see the attached table.
