Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

Upon arrival it was observed that forms for curbing were being installed for the deceleration lane.  Compaction on the deceleration lane was checked (see attached reports) and were found to meet compaction specifications.  The area with the curbing formwork on the deceleration lane was unable to be checked.

A visit was scheduled for a visual footing inspection of the wall footing on the back portion of the project.  The footing was not ready at this time.
