Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

Upon arrival, our representative performed a footing and reinforcing steel inspection for Lot #17.   Reinforcing steel was observed to be placed as per job specifications for size, quantity, and spacing.  A Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests were performed on the east side of the footing in Lot #17.

DCP test results show that foundations were suitable for a soil bearing pressure of 2,000 psf.
