Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

Upon arrival it was observed that some work had been started on the creek crossing area of Pickens Landing.  (see attached photo).

A proof-roll inspection of the decel lane was conducted with Chris, the superintendent of Charles Pruitt Inc, county inspectors, and Russ Hendrix, our representative with ASEC, in attendance.  A loaded tandem-axled dump truck was used for proof-rolling.  No pumping or rutting was observed.
