The site was visited by the AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative noted above for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

Equipment used: Caterpillar CP3 Compactor, Komatsu 51PX Bulldozer, Volvo off-road dump trucks x 2, Caterpillar Excavator.

Upon arrival it was observed that fill lifts were being placed and compacted on the north and south sections of the lake dam.  Two (2) lifts were placed (no elevation was available) and several density tests were performed (see attached report).  The second lift required scarification and aeration to lower in-situ soil moisture contents.   A final test was not completed.
