Observations/Finding

The site was visited by Rasheen Biggins AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today.

Upon arrival to the site, project work was already in progress. The contractor was removing soft/wet soils from the left side of the pipeline according to recommendations made on 4/29/2022 (see daily field report for that day). The contractor then continued placing thin lifts (around 6 inches thick).  Random density testing and probing found the area to be suitable for continued fill placement.   All test results were reported back to Morris (contractor) and can be found in the attached density report.
