Observations/Finding

The site was visited Rasheen Biggins AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today

Upon arrival to the project site, our ASEC representative observed the contractor preparing to place the final foot of fill alongside pipeline in the dam area. Each lift placed was no more than 6 inches in thickness and was moved and spread by a cat excavator and compacted with a Wacker Packer. According to random probing and density tests conducted, the compacted lift was found acceptable, and results were reported back to Morris (the contractor). Test results can be found in the attached density report.
