Observations/Finding

The site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today.

Upon arrival, our representative observed that work was in progress.  The contractor requested footing inspections. Following visual and probing efforts and contacting our office, Mr. Ram Mogulla, P.E. of ASEC recommended that the contractor remove 6 inches of soft soils and replace with #57 stone.  The contractor #57 stone in a 12ft x 17ft area along the wall footing.
