Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by the AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative noted above, for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site this day.

Site Observations:

• Density testing was performed using a Troxler nuclear gauge ( #3430, serial #29588).
• Placement of fill was tested on E-line between E1 and E2.1and the results are attached in the Density Report.
• Placement of fill was tested on Localizer Pad and the results are attached in the attached Density Test Report. Moisture was too high and compaction was low, contractor did not perform any work in the area.
• Settlement plate on the Localizer pad was run into and had to be repaired.
