Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today.

Upon arrival to the project site, our ASEC representative observed that work was already in progress. Contractors were still laying pipe from yesterday’s activities until 1:30pm. After completing the pipeline placement, the contractor then placed fill in the field area next to Mcever rd. Contractors started placing lifts at 6 to 8 inch thickness. Fill was placed using a bulldozer 61px and compaction was done by a sheeps-foot compactor. Density tests were taken and reported back to the contractor. All density tests results can be found in the attached report.
