Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today

Upon arrival to the project site, our ASEC representative observed work was already in progress.  The contractor continued to place fill near the wall area and shoulder of roadway. Each lift placed was approximately 6 to 8 inches in thickness. Materials were spread by a bulldozer 61px, and compaction was performed by a sheeps-foot compactor. Following each lift, density testing was performed with results reported back to the contractor. Results are attached in a separate report.
