Observations/Finding

As requested, our ASEC representative was on site to observe the following:

1: Evaluate the subgrade conditions for Lot #23, Lot #22, Lot #21, Lot #20,

The subgrade conditions for Lot #23, Lot #22, Lot #21, Lot #20 were observed to be clear of debris and loose materials and suitable for slab placement.  Reinforcing steel appeared to be meet job specifications for size, spacing and quantity.

DCP test results indicated that the soils, at the locations listed, met the minimum requirement outlined in the specs for a net allowable bearing pressure of 2500 pcf.

Subgrade conditions should remain dry and free of loose soils/debris prior to concrete placement. If exposed to inclement weather, the subgrade for these lots should be re-evaluated by ASEC.  See below for DCP results.
