Observations/Finding

As requested, our ASEC representative was on site to perform the following:

1: Evaluate the subgrade conditions for Lot #F19, Lot #B18, Lot #F17, Lot #B16 and Lot #F15.

The subgrade conditions for Lot #F19, Lot #B18, Lot #F17, Lot #B16 and Lot #F15. were observed to meet job specifications for concrete placement.  The subgrade was observed to be clear of loose soil, debris and water,

Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests were performed at several locations and depths at the at locations listed below.

DCP test results indicated that the soils, at the locations listed and evaluation’s tested met the minimum requirement outlined in the specs for a net allowable bearing pressure of 2500 pcf.

Subgrade conditions should remain dry and free of loose soils/debris prior to concrete placement. If exposed to inclement weather, subgrade soils should be re-observed by ASEC.
